This site is dedicated to the memory of William B. “Bill” Clore who suffered a fatal heart attack before the legal process was concluded. Bill wrote eloquently about the fundamental unfairness of the homeowners association attempt to change the rules in the middle of the game and threaten our homes with liens and foreclosure. Bill’s many attempts to pose appropriate questions and generate an open and honest dialogue were mocked. In this forum, Bill’s commitment to critical thinking will be honored and his questions asked and answered. Rae Clore, Bill’s widow, relished the 2006 North Carolina Supreme Court decision declaring the amendments “unreasonable, invalid and unenforceable” reaffirming the lesson learned by all children on the playground - only a bully wants to change the rules in the middle of a game!
